The General Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Stephen Y. Wengam together with the other E.P. Officers and has paid a courtesy call to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo at the Seat of Government, Jubilee House.

The visit was to introduce themselves (EP Officers) to the President as the new executives elected by the General Council to lead the Church for the next 4 years and also to strengthen the organization’s relationship with the Presidency.

The General Superintendent emphasizes the need for the church and the government to collaborate and work hand-in-hand to position the country for God’s blessings. Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam also took the opportunity to pray for the country and the President.

In his remarks, the President extended his gratitude to the Christian fraternity for their support in terms of their prayers and socio-economic activities extended to the citizens. Nana Akuffo-Addo also congratulated the E.P. Officers and thank them for their visit.

The Assemblies of God, Ghana led by the General Superintendent has launched a transformation agenda to reach out to authorities and other important personalities in the country and this gesture forms part of the “Reach” aspect of the transformation agenda.
