A delegation from Trinity Bible College and Graduate School, led by Rev. Dr. Andrew Anane Asane, Department Chair and Professor of Global Missions, paid a courtesy call on the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, at his office in Accra. Rev. Dr. Anane Asane also serves as Chairman of the Fellowship of Ghanaian Assemblies of God Churches in the USA.
The ten-member student delegation is in Ghana for a learning and missions trip, including a visit to the Assemblies of God Theological and Missions Seminary. According to Rev. Dr. Anane Asane, the trip forms part of the institution’s commitment to giving students first-hand missions experience in other countries. He noted that choosing Ghana was also a way for him to give back to his home country and alma mater.
Rev. Wengam warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the history and vision of the Church in Ghana. The visit also featured an exchange of gifts, with Rev. Wengam presenting Ghanaian fugu and souvenirs to the guests, who also reciprocated.
Present to receive the delegation were Rev. Albert Anane, Regional Superintendent of Eastern Region “A”, and Rev. Dr. Freeman Osei Tete, Head of Operations at the Church’s Headquarters.
