

The Unforgettable 3rd Apostolic Visit of the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, to the Northern Region “B” took place on Thur 25th June, 2026, at First Assembly of God,Yendi. The programme brought together ministers and their spouses, retired ministers and their spouses and pastors’ widows for a time of intense prayer,incredible fellowship, powerful exhortation, and divine impartation.
WELCOME ADDRESS
Rev. Yeboah Gmajiyimon,Regional Superintendent warmly welcomed the General Superintendent and his wife on behalf of the Northern Region “B” Regional Council. He eulogized the General Superintendent and wife for their humane leadership culminating in the yearly apostolic visits which additionally brings financial and material relief to the vulnerable in the pastoral vocation and motivation for serving pastors and their spouses.
INTENSIVE PRAYER SESSION
The General Superintendent led a three-and-a-half-hour prayer session covering thanksgiving, repentance, intercession for the Church, peace in the nation and region,2026 General Council Meeting, the World Assemblies of God Congress, and personal needs. The gathering experienced a refreshing move of God.
EXHORTATION
Rev. Wengam called on pastors to prioritize leadership of integrity,be content and shun ostentatious lifestyle.He encouraged pastors to prioritize the growth of their faith which is critical to being effective in the ministry.
PRESENTATION OF GIFTS
Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam on her part appreciated ministers’ wives for participating in the 2026 Biennial Ministers Wives Conference held at KNUST in Kumasi.
She subsequently presented gifts, including cloth and cash donation to pastors’ widows and wives of retiree pastors,gift and cash to retired ministers and cloth to ministers’ wives.Moreover,serving Pastors received a gift each as well.
RENEWAL OF MARRIAGE VOWS
The General Superintendent led ministers and their spouses to renew their marriage vows.He admonished pastors to uphold their sacred wedding vows and make their marriage union a model for their members.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION
The Northern Region “B”Regional Council presented a traditional smock to the General Superintendent and northern kente to Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam in appreciation of their historic visit and unprecedented magnanimity.
HOLY COMMUNION
Rev Wengam served participants Holy Communion emphasizing that its purpose is to reflect on the purpose of Christ’s death and not focus exclusively on the benefits which is the norm in recent times.
CONCLUSION
The 3rd apostolic visitation was marked by fervent prayer, spiritual renewal, and unprecedented generosity. Ministers and their families departed strengthened and inspired, with renewed hope for the Church and the region despite prevailing challenges.
