On Thursday, 22nd May 2025, the Central Region B of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, was honored to host the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, at Grace Center Assemblies of God, Assin Atonsu for the 2nd Apostolic visit to the region, a flagship initiative under the Transformation Agenda. In attendance were pastors and their spouses, retired ministers and their spouses, and widows of deceased pastors.
The event was marked by a powerful revival, renewal of marriage vows, and a renewed commitment to the service of God. The atmosphere was deeply spiritual and electrified by the presence of the Holy Spirit. As is customary, Rev. Wengam led the congregation in three and a half hours of fervent prayer, ushering all present into a powerful encounter with God. He also took time to share key highlights from the recent Executive Presbytery meeting held in Takoradi, offering insight into the church’s forward direction.
Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, National President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, on her part, commended the pastors and their spouses for their dedication to nurturing the members of the church. She further extended love to Retired Ministers and their spouses, widows of deceased pastors, and Pastors’ Wives by distributing high-quality clothes and an undisclosed cash gift to the above-mentioned, symbolizing care for the vulnerable.
On behalf of the Regional Council, Rev. Efiinu Kwaku Obiako, the Regional Superintendent and his wife Mrs. Anastasia Efiinu, who also serves as the Regional President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, presented a full cloth and a half piece of premium Kente cloth to the First Family as a token of the region’s appreciation.
In a touching moment, the young son of Rev. Joseph Yeboah presented a handmade portrait of Rev. Stephen Wengam, showcasing youthful creativity and honor for leadership. The General Superintendent and his wife expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception and generous gifts presented to them.
