The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, has ordained three pastors and elevated several ministers to senior ministerial ranks during the 11th North East Regional Council Meeting held from 2nd–5th March 2026 at Gambaga Assembly of God.

The event was attended by the Special Guest of Honour, Hon. Ibrahim Tia, North East Regional Minister, and the Special Guest, Mr. Edmond Kombat, Managing Director of TOR and a member of the church.

Preaching the sermon, Rev. Wengam charged pastors to remain diligent, visionary, and loyal to their calling, drawing inspiration from the example of Prophet Elisha in his service to God and to Elijah. He also encouraged them to set a high standard of excellence for the next generation of ministers.

In his remarks, Hon. Tia commended the church for its contributions to the socio-economic development of the region, particularly through investments in healthcare and education.

The Regional Superintendent, Rev. Baba Alhassan, expressed appreciation to Rev. Wengam and his wife for their donation of 500 bags of cement towards the construction of the Regional Office.
