The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, has commissioned a new legacy temple for the Karimenga Assembly of God in the North East Region of Ghana.
The temple was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Kombat in response to the Church’s call for individuals, families, and institutions to support the construction of places of worship for newly established congregations, rural churches, and assemblies in deprived communities.
Preaching at the commissioning ceremony, Rev. Wengam urged the congregation to prioritize prayer, emphasizing that the Bible describes the house of God as a place of prayer. He also encouraged believers to remain committed to soul winning and to positively impact their communities with the values of Christ.
The temple has been christened **The Rev. Aga Alo Temple**, named in honour of one of the pioneer pastors of Assemblies of God in the North East Region.
Rev. Wengam commended the sponsors for their generosity and called on members of the Church to emulate their shining example by supporting the provision of decent places of worship for congregations across the country.
