The main speaker for the 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Gregg T. Johnson, Assistant District Superintendent of the New York Ministry Network of Assemblies of God, USA, has paid a courtesy call on the First Couple of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, and H.E. Lordina Mahama, First Lady of Ghana, in Accra.

The delegation was led by the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam.

During the visit, Rev. Wengam briefed President Mahama on the purpose of Rev. Johnson’s visit to Ghana and the preparations underway for the 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting.

Rev. Johnson congratulated President Mahama on his re-election and commended his administration for introducing a Code of Conduct for government officials and efforts aimed at stabilising the Ghanaian economy. He also commended the government’s investment in infrastructure and encouraged the President to continue to uphold his Christian values as he leads the nation.

President Mahama warmly welcomed Rev. Johnson to Ghana and expressed appreciation for his visit. He also thanked Rev. Johnson for travelling to Ghana in 2022 to officiate his 30th wedding anniversary.

The President attributed his leadership success to the grace and guidance of God and expressed his appreciation for the continued prayers and support of the Church.
