Preparations are gaining momentum for the upcoming World Assemblies of God Congress, as organisers ramp up coordination and stakeholder engagement ahead of the global event scheduled for October.
The Personal Assistant to the Global Chair of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, Miss Diana Lim, has been briefed by the Local Organising Chairman, Rev. Rev Andrews Nelson Awintia, on progress made and ongoing preparations. The update covered key milestones achieved, timelines for outstanding activities, and strategic direction from the Global Chair to ensure a successful Congress.
A major focus of the discussions was the need to scale up promotion and drive participation across member nations.
As part of efforts to strengthen media collaboration, Rev. Awintia led a delegation to AGTV, one of the official media partners for the Congress. The visit aimed to deepen engagement and acknowledge the station’s role in amplifying visibility through its broadcasts and digital platforms.
Rev. Awintia noted that while AGTV has consistently promoted the Congress, the visit provided valuable firsthand insight into its operations and commitment to the event.
The World Congress is expected to attract delegates from across the globe, making strategic publicity and coordinated planning critical to delivering a successful and impactful gathering.
