GLORIOUS 3RD APOSTOLIC VISIT TO VOLTA NORTH REGION BY THE GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT OF ASSEMBLIES OF GOD,GHANA

The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam has embarked on a 3rd Apostolic Visit to the Volta North Region.This event brought together ministers, their spouses, retirees and spouses, and pastors’ widows for a time of prayer,impartation,fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

WELCOME ADDRESS
The Regional Superintendent,Rev John Oddu welcomed Rev Wengam and touted his achievements since he assumed office as General Superintendent.He commended the first couple for their unequaled commitment to ministers welfare,institutional transformation,church growth and church planting

INTENSE PRAYER SESSION
Rev. Wengam led an intensive three and half hours prayer session for the Church,the nation,the upcoming World Assemblies of God Fellowship Congress, and the 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting.
In addition,he called on pastors to emulate the fiery faith of the early fathers,remain steadfast in their calling,prioritise church planting and strengthen their spiritual discipline.

PRESENTATION OF GIFTS
The General Superintendent presented gifts to pastors,cloth to their spouses,cash and gift to retirees and cloth and cash gift to wives of retirees and pastors’ widows in appreciation of their faithful service.
In a reciprocal gesture the Volta North Regional Council presented traditional Kente cloths and its accessories to the first couple of the church and installed them as Progressive King and Queen of the Volta North region.This was in recognition of their visionary leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the growth of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

RENEWAL OF MARRIAGE VOWS
Rev Wengam led married couples to renew their wedding vows.He admonished pastors and wives to model godly Christian marriage.

Another remarkable feature of this year’s apostolic visitation was the serving of Holy Communion
