The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, during their 3rd Apostolic Visit to Eastern Region “B” in Suhum, took time to visit the widow of the late Rev. Richard Adamptey, an ordained minister of the church, at her residence.

Rev. Adamptey passed away a few weeks ago after a short illness.

The first couple was accompanied by the Regional Superintendent, Rev. Obed Asiedu, and his wife, Mrs. Princess Asiedu.

During the visit, Rev. Wengam conveyed the condolences of the General Council to Mrs. Adamptey and the bereaved family. He reminded her of God’s promise to care for widows and orphans and assured her that God remains faithful and will not abandon His people in times of crisis.

Rev. Wengam subsequently offered a passionate prayer for the widow, her baby daughter, and the entire family, asking God to strengthen, comfort, and sustain them.

Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam also presented cloth and a cash gift to the widow as an expression of love and support from the leadership of the church.
