For the second time, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and his wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, have sponsored free medical treatment for 158 retired ministers, their spouses, and widows of deceased ministers in the Ashanti Region.

The outreach took place on Friday, 13th March 2026 at Light House Assembly of God in Kumasi. Medical services were provided by the Cedar Medical Outreach Team from Cedar Mountain Chapel, East Legon, Assemblies of God.

Rev. Wengam visited the venue to encourage and interact with the beneficiaries. He expressed appreciation for the faithful service rendered by the retired ministers, their spouses, and the families of deceased ministers, noting that the initiative was a way of honouring and supporting them. He also urged them to continue praying for the Church and the nation.

In addition to receiving medical care, each beneficiary was served a meal and presented with an undisclosed cash gift.
