The above-mentioned meeting was held from the 5th to the 8th May, 2025. It was chaired by the General Superintendent of the church, Rev Stephen Wengam.

Attending were the wives of the Executive Presbytery who serve as the National Executive Committee of the Ministers’ Wives Association(MWA). The president of the association is Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, wife of the General Superintendent. After each day’s prayer session lasting 3-5 hours, the national executive committee of the MWA met separately to deliberate on matters affecting the association.

The Executive Presbytery at their meeting received reports from the regions, departments, and agencies and discussed the welfare and growth of the church, amongst others. High on the agenda was the Word Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, scheduled to take place in Accra in October 2026, church growth, and the spiritual development of the church.

The General Superintendent, during the opening devotion, speaking from Ephesians 3:20, admonished the rank and file of the church to pursue the theme for 2026, Pray Without Ceasing For Supernatural manifestations with dedication and diligence. He revealed that God’s ability to achieve greater works in the church depends on our commitment to prayer.
