The Ministers’ Pension Board of Assemblies of God, Ghana has successfully conducted the Accra East and Accra West legs of its 2026 Annual Regional Tour as part of efforts to educate ministers on retirement planning, pension administration, and welfare matters.

The Accra East sessions were held from 2nd to 3rd June 2026 at Fountain of Glory Assemblies of God and the Greater Accra East Regional Office in Tema, while the Accra West engagements took place from 4th to 5th June 2026 at Liberty Centre Assemblies of God and the Greater Accra West Regional Office.

The annual tour brought together pastors, church board members, and pastors’ spouses for seminars and discussions on pension-related matters and retirement preparedness. The meetings also provided an opportunity for participants to engage the Pension Board on various processes and policies designed to ensure the welfare of ministers during and after active service.

A key component of the programme was the Penultimate Session for ministers aged 64 years and above. These sessions involved interactions between the Pension Board, regional officers, district pastors, church boards, senior ministers, and the affected ministers as part of preparations for retirement. Discussions also covered monthly support arrangements for qualified retired ministers.

The tour forms part of the Pension Board’s commitment to promoting financial literacy, retirement readiness, and sustainable welfare support for ministers of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

Participants expressed appreciation to the Pension Board for the insightful presentations and practical guidance provided during the engagements. Many described the sessions as timely, informative, and beneficial in helping ministers prepare adequately for life after active ministry.

The Pension Board reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the welfare of ministers and ensuring that those who have faithfully served the Church are supported and honoured throughout their retirement years.
