

Assemblies of God, Ghana is currently holding its 2nd National Prayer Warriors’ Retreat at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd May 2026 under the theme: “Praying With Mountain-Moving Faith.”
The annual retreat brings together intercessors, pastors, prayer warriors, and armor bearers to seek the face of God for revival in the Church, pray for global missions, intercede for the upcoming World Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF), and uphold the Transformation Agenda—the vision of the Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
About 407 participants are attending the retreat.
Participants engage in 10 hours of prayer daily, alongside a 24-hour continuous prayer chain which commenced on Monday, 18th May at 6:00pm and is expected to end on Saturday, 23rd May at 6:00am.
The programme is coordinated by the General Secretary, Rev. Ernest Birikorang, with assistance from Rev. Emmanuel Bawa.
