The wife of the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam in the company of her husband, Rev Stephen Wengam fraternized and fellowshiped with pastors’ widows and wives of retired ministers of Greater Accra East, Greater Accra West, Ashanti Regions and Northern Regions of the church.

The meeting was called at the instance of Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam. During one such meeting in the Greater Accra regions, present was the wife of the first indigenous General Superintendent, Mrs. Karen Namyela Panka, and the widow of the late Rev. David Nabegmado (Rev. Mrs. Comfort Nabegmado).

Rev. Dr. Wengam and wife, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam encouraged the pastors’ wives and widows. They also presented gifts (cash & material) to them and prayed for them as well. The women in turn prayed intensely for the General Superintendent and wife. The final prayer of intercession was offered by Mrs. Karen Namyela Panka.

This is an initiative of the wife of the General Superintendent and will be extended to the other administrative regions of the church across the country.
