The newly elected General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso has said his final term of office would be gearing towards a greater revival in the church. Prof. Frimpong-Manso, who was voted to serve in his 3rd and final term of office as the head of Assemblies of God, Ghana stated this during the church’s 29th Biennial General Council Meeting held in Kumasi.

In his acceptance speech, the General Superintendent thanked all the Reverend Ministers and the delegates who represented the entire organization for overwhelmingly given him the mandate to serve them. He pledged not to disappoint them for the confidence they have in him. He promised to work hard with his executives to bring Assemblies of God, Ghana in the greatest limelight.

Touching on the less privileged churches and the pastors in the rural areas, Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso stated that the newly elected leaders would provide what they need for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus and the organization. The General Superintendent promised to make Assemblies of God, Ghana a better church and “by the time I leave office we will experience a greater revival and the grace, anointing and the favour of God would be great upon this church “, he stated.
Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso called for co-operation and unity among the rank and file of the church and urged them to avoid the practices of “everyone for himself, God for us all” attitude. He invited all to come on board to assist in the building of the church.

Rev.Dr. Paul Dsane and Rev.Dr. Sam Ato Bentil retained their positions as the Assistant General Superintendent and General Treasurer. Rev.Dr. Kwame Bansah who is the new face among the Executive Presbytery officers was elected as the General Secretary. Other officers were also elected as National departmental directors.

Results of the National Elections
