The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam has ordained pastors and elevated some to the rank of Exhorters and Licentiates. This ceremony took place on 8th February 2024 at the Living Waters Chapel, Assemblies of God, Kumasi.

Rev.Dr. Wengam preached on the topic, “Send The Light Because There Are Still More Lands To Be Possessed” (Joshua 13:1). He challenged the pastors to be up to the task by leading their congregations to win souls and plant new churches. He reminded them that this is the supreme assignment of the church. He called on Christians to be the light of the world. He called for peaceful, free, and fair elections while leading the congregation to pray for same.

The Special Guest of honour for the ceremony was H.E John D Mahama, former President of the Republic of Ghana. He encouraged the church to send the Light into politics thereby challenging more Christians to respond to this critical call of God. An award was presented to the Special Guest of honour for representing Christ well in politics.
